Username accounts are used first. Guest ID is only a temporary fallback until you create or sign into an account.
Boinko stores a temporary guest ID on this device so points and settings can work before you create an account. If you attach Phantom, your wallet address stays connected to your username account. Boinko never needs your seed phrase or private key.
